A video of a fan rushing up to hold Vijay Deverakonda’s feet during an event is going viral on social media, leaving the netizens with mixed reaction
Pan-Indian star Vijay Deverakonda has made a name for himself in the Indian entertainment industry with his powerful performances. The hearthrob recently attended the success meet of the movie Baby, which stars his brother Anand Deverakonda in the lead role. He was in for a shock, when in the middle of his speech, a fan after breaching the security, rushed up to him leaving everyone shocked.
In the video posted by Viral Bhayani, the actor can be seen giving a speech when someone runs up the stage to hold Vijay’s feet. Startled by the sudden intrusion, he tries to avoid contact with the fan, who is then contained by the security. Known for his calm and down-to-earth personality, him trying to avoid the ‘crazy’ fans has received mixed reactions from the netizens. While a section of the internet is supporting him for his reaction, others are mocking him for getting scared because of a boy. On the work front, Deverakonda was last seen in Liger starring Ananya Pandey. The movie was heavily criticized for its portrayal of story and characters. The actor too faced major backlash from the critics as well as the netizens. It was reported that Liger’s failure took a huge toll on the actor. He will be next seen in Kushi, co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and an untitled project ‘VD12’.
